Former LACMA employee files class action over 2025 data breach

Adam Piron sued the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California Superior Court after the museum’s public notice that an unauthorized party accessed parts of its network from 7–11 July 2025. The complaint alleges delayed notification and seeks stronger security measures for staff and visitors whose personal data may have been exposed.
