Artists keep their copyright

Submitting a work grants GET HUNG a licence to display and promote the submitted image. It transfers no copyright. The artist keeps every other right.

Submitting a claim

To report an infringement, send the following to hello@gethung.lol:

1. your name, address, telephone number, and email;
2. identification of the work you say is infringed;
3. the URL of the material on GET HUNG you want removed;
4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
6. your physical or electronic signature.

Designated agent: registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress.

Until it is complete, send copyright claims and counter-notices to hello@gethung.lol.

What happens next

1. The work is removed from public view while the claim is reviewed.
2. The submitter is notified and may respond.
3. If the work had received backing, removal and any refund question are handled under the Placement terms rather than automatically.

Counter-notice

A submitter who believes their work was removed in error may send a counter-notice with their contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

A counter-notice must also include your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, or, if you are outside the United States, of any district in which the Operator may be found, and a statement that you will accept service from the person who made the claim. Unless the claimant tells us within ten business days of receiving the counter-notice that they have filed a court action, we may restore the work between ten and fourteen business days after receiving a valid counter-notice. Knowingly false claims and counter-notices carry liability for damages and costs under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

Other legal requests

Trademark, defamation, privacy and court-order requests go to the same address. Include the URL and the legal basis. We may preserve material and disclose it to law enforcement where the law requires.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
