Guggenheim Museum Bilbao’s official page dates Ruth Asawa: Retrospective from 19 March to 13 September 2026 in galleries 103 and 105. Ten sections span a six-decade career, from looped-wire sculptures to tied-wire works, casts, paperfolds, paintings, drawings, and prints. It is an SFMOMA and MoMA partnership with Guggenheim Bilbao; co-curators are Janet Bishop, Cara Manes, and Geaninne Gutiérrez-Guimarães. The museum’s January programme called it the first exhibition in Spain dedicated to Asawa. Through 13 September, hours are Tuesday–Sunday 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Adult admission is €18 including audioguide; under 18s are free.
