Brett Littman named director and CEO of MCA San Diego

MCA San Diego’s official 17 August 2026 press release names Brett Littman as its next Director and Chief Executive Officer, starting in early October 2026 as the eighth director and CEO in the museum’s history. Littman is a UCSD alumnus and formerly led the Noguchi Museum and The Drawing Center; he most recently ran Shakkei Consulting. ARTnews reported the appointment the same day and noted he succeeds Kathryn Kanjo, who left in January for the merged UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art.
