Palestinian painter Sliman Mansour has died in Jerusalem at 79

Mansour’s family announced on 24 August that the Birzeit-born artist, a leading figure of contemporary Palestinian painting and a co-founder of the New Visions collective, died in Jerusalem. No cause of death has been made public.
