Rotterdam dismisses civil servants in bribery case tied to Boijmans renovation contracts

The Art Newspaper reports that two Rotterdam civil servants were summarily dismissed after Mayor Carola Schouten said they accepted gifts from municipal business contacts for possible preferential treatment, including asbestos-related work at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. A criminal investigation continues; the museum declined to comment because the municipality manages the buildings.
