AGO shows Blue Jays pitcher Dylan Cease’s Eve of Toronto painting

On 25 August 2026 the Art Gallery of Ontario displayed Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dylan Cease’s acrylic Eve of Toronto (2026) in Walker Court and launched an AGO x Cease retail capsule of prints, postcards, apparel and totes, with proceeds supporting the gallery’s charitable mission. The Globe and Mail and Sportsnet reported Cease completed the work over two weeks in spring training; it normally hangs in manager John Schneider’s office. AGO chief of brand and business Ros Lawler said the collaboration grew from a May visit when Cease was recognized by staff.
