The visual language of silent cinema has been a lasting influence on my practice. Early films relied on gesture, composition, contrast, and atmosphere to communicate what words could not. I seek a similar ambiguity in my collages, constructing scenes that suggest narratives without resolving them. Like a single frame taken from an unfinished film, each image invites multiple interpretations while resisting a definitive explanation.
